Ryan Wiley at Saudi Ministry of Health’s 2nd Annual Research Week
On April 7, 2019, Shift Health President Dr. Ryan Wiley presented a talk and moderated a panel on the future of health research in Saudi Arabia as part of the Saudi Ministry of Health’s 2nd Annual Research Week, April 7-11, 2019.
Shift Health was pleased to convene a panel of luminaries in health research leadership and administration, including Dr. Alain Beaudet, Past President of the Canadian Institutes of Health Research, Dr. Margaret (Peggy) Johnston, Former Senior Program Officer at the Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation and Former Director at National Institute of Allergy & Infectious Diseases, and Dr. Edward Hillhouse, Emeritus Professor of Medicine at the University of Leeds.
“Investment in high-quality research is the bedrock of a healthcare system committed to doing better for the population it serves,” said Dr. Wiley, who described the week as an energizing discussion with researchers committed to achieving impact for patients and the health system.
