Prior of joining Shift Health, Kai has extensive experience in life science consulting, with a focus on competitive intelligence and real-world evidence. She has worked across various therapeutic areas including oncology, infectious disease, rare diseases, and public health, providing clients ranging from top 10 pharmaceuticals companies and small biotechs with actionable insights and strategic recommendations.

Kai holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Oxford, where she designed novel synthetic routes for pharmaceutical compounds. During her academic tenure, Kai has received several scholarships such as the Senior Cheetham Scholarship for outstanding performance in Chemistry.
