Before joining Shift Health, Chris supported a portfolio of projects in competitive intelligence and market research spanning the pharmaceutical and medical device industries. His work focused on several therapeutic areas including in vitro diagnostics, oncology, ophthalmology, metabolism & obesity, and rare cardiac diseases. With deep expertise in quantitative market modelling, competitor benchmarking, clinical trial monitoring and pharmaceutical pipeline analysis, Chris has provided meaningful perspectives and actionable intelligence to support client’s R&D efforts and commercial decision-making.

Chris earned a PhD in Molecular Genetics from the University of Toronto, where he investigated the role of developmental enhancers in guiding animal models of cardiac repair and heart regeneration. During his academic tenure, Chris presented his research at several international research conferences and was the recipient of CGS-D scholarship funding from the Canadian Institute of Health Research (CIHR).
