Since joining the Shift Health team in 2019, Dr. Meghan Wright has worked on projects spanning across the health research and innovation ecosystem. She has contributed to assessments of the market demand for potential biopharma products, academic research program development, and health policy analysis and communication. Meghan’s clients have included McMaster University, Roche, and the International Vaccine Institute.
Prior to Shift Health, Meghan completed her PhD at the University of Toronto in Biomedical Engineering, where she developed tissue engineered skin substitutes. She was an NSERC CGS scholar and the recipient of a number of other prestigious academic awards including the NSERC Michael Smith Foreign Study Supplement. While a PhD candidate, she was a scientific consultant at a biotech investment firm and completed an internship at a medical device start-up. She is the author of 6 peer-reviewed publications.
