Life Sciences Ontario (LSO) has released Proceedings from the LSO 2016 Annual Policy Forum. The forum, sponsored by Shift Health for the second year in a row, convened leaders from government, academia, industry, and the not-for-profit sector to discuss policy priorities, the Federal Innovation Agenda and how to position Ontario and Canada for success.

Dr. Ryan Wiley, President of Shift Health, commented:

“This year’s LSO Policy Forum signaled an era of convergence: governments at both the federal and the provincial level are primed toward innovation and interested in collaboration. We must now align agendas in order to unlock Ontario’s and Canada’s knowledge, commercialization and healthcare leadership; improve our competitiveness in the global knowledge economy; invent, translate and apply solutions our healthcare system needs; and ultimately realize the full value of our investment in health research and innovation.”
