On November 28, 2016, Life Sciences Ontario (LSO) brought together leaders from the life sciences sector in Ontario at the LSO 2016 Annual Policy Forum to discuss how to position the province, and Canada more broadly, for global success.

Shift Health was the Lead Sponsor for the second year in a row.

“We would like to thank and congratulate LSO for a successful, stimulating symposium,” said Shift Health President Dr. Ryan Wiley.

Dr. Wiley moderated an interactive live poll that uncovered forum participants’ perspectives on key policy options, particularly with respect to aligning federal and provincial innovation agendas. The results will help to shape LSO’s policy and advocacy agenda in 2017.

The forum brought together leaders from government, academia, industry, and the not-for-profit sector, shedding light on an array of perspectives on topics such as priorities for policymakers, the current Federal Innovation Agenda and how to position Ontario and Canada for success.
